PARIS, Apr 8, 2009 / FW/ — Usually associated with summer, the sunflower is an unusual choice for inspiration for a Fall / Winter collection; but Back to Noise is not your usual label. It catches your eyes because it deals on atypical subjects.
Relatively a newcomer in the very competitive Paris fashion scene, Back to Noise is making its name as an alternative fashion label without the ‘street’ attached to it.
For Fall 2009 / Winter 2010, Back to Noise added 1980s elements to the ‘sunflower’ focal point, and thus re-creating the glamour of ‘Working Girls’ with underground fashion aura and European aesthetics.
Red, gray, black and slate blue – the colors are strong and so are the silhouettes. It’s the power woman of the 1980s reincarnated!
Now, it’s just a matter of finding out what they can do during the 2010s.
