NEW YORK, Apr 11, 2009 / FW/ — Borrowing from Comme des Garcons’ guerilla style marketing, 25 New York and New Jersey emerging designers are putting together ‘Creative Conspiracy’ pop-up shop to showcase their collections.
Creative Conspiracy, a temporary retail space and four-day shopping event to be held April 16 – 19, 2009 in Montclair, New Jersey will offer a range of men’s and women’s apparel, along with accessories, including handbags and jewelry. Some of the featured designers include: J.B. Born (vintage); B. Artise Originals, Sandra Baquero, Atlantis Jewelry, Marcelle Decaille, Vernakular, Devils May Care, Issy Salomon, Butter by Keba, A Seat at The Table, Pinnington Bags, Sierra Rising, Guerrilla Soul, Must-Have Accessories, Rhizome Design Concepts, Sohung Designs, Vanessa Ro Designs, Z Chocolate Candy, Amparo3, Park It Guides, NTR Designs, Gail Toma and many more.
Conceptualized by designer Bridgett Artise, creator of B. Artise Originals and author of Born Again Vintage (Random House 2008), the event will offer the Montclair and surrounding communities the chance to explore new fashionable products in a stylish, contemporary, pop-up retail location.
The four day event, sponsored by New Jersey Life magazine, will feature an array of services and products for guest to enjoy. Other event sponsors include Bangz Salon and Wellness Spa, Ladies Who Launch, Sahana Spa and Salon, Bobbi Brown cosmetics, Montclair Antiques Center, Antiques by Noel and Madear’s Southern Cuisine and Catering.
