DALLAS, Apr 13, 2009 / FW/ — Isaac Mizrahi is getting SIRIUS with show business. While ‘The Fashion Show’, Bravo’s replacement for Project Runway, which Mizrahi is hosting, does not go on the air until May 7, 2009, the famed designer will kick off “Isaac Mizrahi: Tell Me Everything” on SIRIUM XM radio on April 16, 2009.
Scheduled to run for five weeks, Mizrahi will welcome guests from the worlds of fashion, entertainment and more on the live, call-in show. He will take calls from across the country about far ranging topics that will include spring fashion, weddings, and trends of today’s style makers from Hollywood to the White House, how to entertain on a budget, and fashion tips.
With designers, stylists and celebrities as guests, a roundtable discussion will be ensued based on the callers’ questions.
The show format is expected to help people across the country discover and embrace their personal style, solve their fashion dilemmas and illustrate that style is attainable for anyone – no matter the budget.
SIRIUS XM listeners are encouraged to call in and ask him questions during the live broadcasts at 866-675-6675. The show will be on Martha Stewart Living Radio, SIRIUS channel 112 and XM channel 157.
Currently the Creative Director at Liz Claiborned, Isaac Mizrahi is a four-time CFDA Fashion award winner. He worked with Perry Ellis and Calvin Klein before launching his own label in 1987. An accomplished author, Mizrahi’s latest book is “How to Have Style.”
Before “Isaac Mizrahi: Tell Me Everything”, the famed designer has hosted his own series on the Oxygen and Style Networks and can currently be seen on his daily web series WATCHISAAC.COM. Mizrahi is the host of forthcoming Bravo TV series The Fashion Show.
