In the advertising world, Us Weekly made news when it sold ads on its Facebook page to State Farm. Classified as ‘sponsorship’ and not really an ad placement, it was an extension of the insurance company’s advertising relationship with the publication.
On Wednesday night, April 22, 2009 in Hollywood, Us Weekly held its ‘Hot Hollywood Style’ Issue Launch Party at My House.
Notable attendees include ‘The Hills’ star Lauren Conrad who wore camilla and marc’s “elodie frock”; Karina Smirnoff who was spotted wearing Sass & Bide’s “the almost noon” strapless dress, and the beautiful Jennifer Westfeldt wearing Martin Katz jewelry to accent her green dress.
Westfeldt wore the diamond, green tourmaline, and orange sapphire earrings with five multi-color diamond bangle bracelets to compliment her stunning ensemble.
Fergie surprised everyone at Us Weekly’s party by arriving on the red carpet wearing the McQ Alexander McQueen for Target Studded-Leather Vest in Black.
Meanwhile at Palm Springs, Kate Bosworth rocked a Ksubi denim skirt as she cuddled with her boyfriend James Rousseau at Coachella Music Festival.
In New York, Beyoncé wore Toni Maticevski heels, exclusive off the Fall 2009 runway to match with her Roberto Cavalli dress.
