NEW YORK, May 27, 2009 / FW/ — Memorial Day, the “official” start of summer here in the U.S. turned into a ‘White Hot’ event when Levi’s showcased the brand’s white-hot styles for spring and summer at its Times Square location.
Teams of Levi’s models all dressed in white – including the original white jean, the Button- Fly 501- strolled down Times Square and invited New Yorkers and tourists to participate in a special shopping event and offered them a chance to win a white, limited-edition Levi’s® i-Pod shuffle by handing them a special white cassette tape.
Those with the white cassette tapes were encouraged to go inside the Levi’s store to play their cassette on a boom-box to determine if they have won one of the more than 100 i-Pod shuffles that Levi’s gave away throughout the day.
If they did not win the i-Pod shuffle, shoppers were still winners as they received a 40% discount on select Levi’s products.
Anyone who visits the Levi’s® Times Square Store from May 21 through May 28 will receive a 40% discount on select Levi’s® product.
