NEW YORK, Jun 8, 2009 / FW/ — Talk about impeccable timing! Italian luxury brand La Perla opened its first North American Pop-Up shop at the East Hampton just in time for the summer when the rich and famous congregate to get some sun and surf.
Located on 66 Newtown Lane just off Main Street, the 900 square foot boutique will primarily showcase the La Perla Mare swimwear collection and house the complete line of lingerie.
The La Perla Mare swimwear collection is renowned for innovative couture hand detailing and is the ultimate in luxury swimwear, with limited and exclusive distribution in North America.
The assortment selected for the East Hampton shop will include bathing suits, pareos and tunics. Lingerie includes silk robes, chemises, nightgowns and the quintessential La Perla lace intimates and corsets.
The store is bright and spacious, reflecting both the principal elements of La Perla Boutiques globally, and the beach atmosphere of East Hampton.
The white minimalist interior keeps the focus on the collections and the bright poolside imagery from the La Perla Mare Spring 2009 ad campaign which is shown throughout the store.
“This location allows us to be closer to our existing clients in the Hamptons and helps us welcome new ones who may not have visited our other boutiques. Focusing this store on La Perla Mare is essential in a resort area,” says La Perla North America CEO Suzy Biszantz.
