NEW YORK, Jul 28, 2009 / FW/ — From Down Under to the Big Apple, Tigerlily brought together a lively mix of uptown and downtown fashionistas, trend starters and industry insiders at the WOW suite sun deck of W Hotel to fete the brand’s Spring 2010 collection.

Hosting the chic cocktail is Tigerlily founder Jodhi Meares, who together with the label’s Head Designer Amelia Stanley welcomed Sports Illustrated models Julie Henderson, Damaris Lewis, Darla Baker, Alicia Rountree, and Melissa Haro, Elle Magazine Style Director Kate Lanphear, model-actress Kristy Hinze and celebrity stylist Tom Soluri.

Emphasizing the label’s DNA of fusing fashion and classic themes through the use of unique textiles, Meares and Stanley meld their individual aesthetics to create the Tigerlily Spring 2010 collection that proposes a luxurious fashion range of swim as well as boho-inspired separates.

Brightly printed cover-ups and tops, perfectly torn cut-offs, flirty beach-to-night fringe dresses, flouncy and structured skirts were presented together with the teeny weeny bikinis.

Tigerlily was founded by Australian Jodhi Meares in the year 2000, creating a brand that represents beauty and strength, individuality and confidence in the process.

A brand that is exotic and sexy but grounded, Tigerlily was sold by Meares to Aussie surfwear giant Billabong two years ago after which Meares stayed as Creative Consultant.
