PARIS, Oct 5, 2009 / FW/ — At Karl Lagerfeld, there are no trousers (shorts don’t count); the design maestro choosing to emphasize the legs for Spring 2010 as he sent miniskirts and shorts on the runway.

Karl Lagerfeld Spring 2010

Opening with a coat wherein the hemline was flipped back and thus creating a tulip-like silhouette, Karl Lagerfeld set the tone of the collection as sent one after another boxy jackets and shorts, and rounded A-line skirts that a metro girl would love.

High-waisted shorts, brief jackets and mannish shirts, there is some gender-bending going subtle though as it maybe. What was very apparent is the modernity with a dash of romanticism thrown in.
