PARIS, Oct 1, 2009 / FW/ — A pink runway, a predominantly black collection with just splashes of red, light blue and giant polka dots, and if it reminds you of Yohji Yamamoto, don’t be surprised because Limi Feu is the daughter of the famed Japanese designer.

Limi Feu Spring 2010

Yet, if you’re thinking that Limi Feu is just copying her father, erase that thought immediately because her creations are entirely her own. The saying, “the acorn does not fall far from the tree” is still true though. Limi Feu inherited her father’s designing prowess.

But while Yohji Yamamoto broke new grounds for the Gen X and Gen Y, the Millennials will choose Limi Feu over her dad, not because she is better but because she has her hand on the pulse of the “Gossip Girl” crowd the same way that Yohji Yamamoto had the “Dallas” and “Dynasty” crowd figured out.
