DALLAS, Oct 31, 2009 / FW/ — Unveiled last September, during New York Fashion Week, the Mackage Spring / Summer 2010 collection brings the label back to its roots – utilitarian closet staples in the most lavish leathers that read as rugged or refined, depending upon the wearer.
Designers Eran Elfassy and Elisa Dahan reinvented the classic silhouette and brought the brand’s signature detailing to timeless shapes, thus delivering a stylish collection of sleek, fashion-forward outerwear.
The Mackage women’s collection includes double-breasted, hooded, A-line and asymmetrical zipped trenches in addition to blazers and bombers in lush leathers and soft lambskins embellished with elbow patches, thumbholes, perforated panels and hidden snap placards.
Packables in short and long styles return for Spring 2010, updated in new colors including red, petrol, grape and peacock—hues that are present in both the men’s and women’s collections this season. Never overdone, the collection’s clean lines and precise details make Mackage classically chic while simultaneously modern.
In addition to leathers, Mackage also offers a wide array of trenches and nylon styles for Spring 2010 that update classic, timeless silhouettes with asymmetrical zipper and button placements, sleek buckles and hidden snaps.
