MILAN, Oct 21, 2009 / — Roberto Cavalli will attend and be the guest of honor at the first Annual Fashionable Istanbul.
Istanbul’s weekend of fashion, hosted by top model Bar Rafaeli, will open with a Gala in honor of the Florentine designer. The following two days of events will feature upcoming Turkish designers along with major brands such as Missoni, Salvatore Ferragamo, Gianfranco Ferre’ and Vivien Westwood.
Roberto Cavalli will show a unique collection of pieces from the Fall/Winter 2009 collection and a selection of signature archival gowns from the Florentine House. The show will be held at the striking Dolmabahce Palace.
A dinner party honoring the designer will follow after the show at the exclusive Reina Clubcon with dignitaries and VIPs from Turkey.
