PARIS, Oct 9, 2009 / FW/ — By Paris standards, Vanessa Bruno is a low-key designer, opting for discreet and unfussy shows instead of pomp and circumstance. Her cult following is the most important cult of all – the fashion editors who just love wearing Vanessa Bruno’s clothes and accessories.

Vanessa Bruno Spring 2010

With the wearability factor high on the list of requirements, for Spring 2010 Vanessa Bruno proposes miniskirts with faux dropdown waist achieved by having a wide belt-like piece in white and a peplum added at the bottom using grommets.

Paired with a jacket of the same color as the skirt, or a sheered blouse and overcoat the same colors as the belt-like piece, the look is edgy.

We have heard of arm warmers and leg warmers, right? Well… Vanessa Bruno is also proposing wrist warmers that from the looks of it can do double duty as fingerless opera gloves. There seem to be lace knee warmers also that also do double duty as footless stockings!
