Gap Holiday CampaginNEW YORK, Dec 5, 2009 / FW/ — It began on Black Friday, here in New York; 12 professional dancers and drummers were cheering up the crowd at Times Square.

Then, they boarded a buffalo plaid bus, and they are now in Chicago cheering the crowd there. Their next stop will be in Los Angeles, and finally San Francisco where Gap’s corporate headquarters is located.

A road trip is as American as apple pie and that’s what Gap is doing to spread holiday cheer this year.

Travelling in Gap’s eye-catching red and black checkered bus, the 12 professional dancers and drummers will be popping up at holiday hotspots and malls throughout the holiday season to spread cheer with live performances and free giveaways like jean certificates for a free pair of 1969 Premium Jeans and “Buy One, Get One 50% Off” coupons.

Gap Holiday CampaginThe tour is part of Gap’s 2009 holiday campaign noted for its vibrant, dancing adults and kids belting out holiday cheers while showing off the essential winter looks including buffalo plaid shirts, Navajo-inspired prints, Fair Isle sweaters and cozy accessories to keep everyone looking chic while staying warm this winter for prices that won’t break the bank.
