PARIS, Jan 19, 2010 / FW/ — Best known for treating sunglasses as fashion, Linda Farrow founded her eponymous eyewear label in 1970 and quickly became a favorite the fashion set.
Forty-years later, the label is going strong and has a long list of collaborative efforts with an impressive list of designers.
For Spring 2010, Linda Farrow collaborates with Alexander Wang, The Row, Veronique Branquinho, Dries Van Noten, Raf Simons, Prototype, Matthew Williamson and Eley Kishimoto, among others.
Born and raised in Chicago, Sheiglagh Hawkins is not a stranger to high fashion. Surprisingly enough, moving to South Carolina with its romantic past captured Sheiglagh's imagination. She fell in love with the costumes of the Pre-Civil War era and her love affair with fashion history began.
