martin_grantF1020DALLAS, Mar 25, 2010 / FW/ — True to his signature style of clean lines and architectural silhouettes, Martin Grant proposes ultra-modern looks that are timeless and relevant.

Opting for a very narrow color palette of black, blue and caramel, Martin Grant also cut the silhouette slim, using pleating to add volume and by doing so, made the collection architectural.

There are no sharp edges though. The angles had been rounded resulting to softened looks.

A very clever use of fur was also observed, proposing them as shawl or cape, even a tunic or a decorative element on an evening gown.

With only twenty pieces, this is a small collection, but the statement is very strong and Martin Grant’s voice is being heard clearly in the fashion world.
