Tsumori-Chisato-pwaw-2010

PARIS, March 9, 2010/ FW/ — Blending ethnic Persian and Morrocan elements into one collection, Tsumori Chisato sent out a very colorful collection with the ambiance so strong that being there, you can almost smell the scent of spices, fruits and exotic oils from that era.

A short bright-red jacket with a high shoulders and a black lining in gold polka dots, transparent blouse from the finest organza, braided belt and trousers are all reminiscent of a night in the desert under the stars.

The very unique and original mixing of different colors and fabrics, always a strong point of Tsumori Chisato gave strength to this collection wherein harem pants were paired with draped printed tunic.

The same creative approach was seen in the lightweight coveralls, the upper part of which consists of a blue jersey striped, and the silk bottoms featured hand painted prints.

Sweet detail: little Aladdin’s lamp on a chain, is a superb addition. For a snazzy reception at the Sultan’s palace specially designed air beige dress, decorated with delicate sequins and black embroidery.
