MILAN, Apr 21, 2010 / FW/ — Strengthening its position in China, Italian fashion house Brioni opened two new boutiques, one in Beijing and one in Shanghai, thus bringing to 67 the brand’s free-standing stores worldwide.

Set at China Central Place, one of the largest malls in the world and the luxury shopping area in the city, the Brioni Beijing location measures 220 square meters and features both men and women collections.

Meanwhile, the Brioni boutique in Shanghai is located at the recently inaugurated luxury hotel, The Peninsula Shanghai, overlooking the Bund, the largest shopping area in the city. The boutique meansure 140 square meters and carries menswear products and accessories.

Both spaces retain the Brioni concept store ideals offering a skillful and refined use of wood, bronze and leather and created by a team of architects and interior designer.

The openings in Beijing and Shanghai following the latest in a series of openings – Barcelona, Istanbul and Zagreb, Mexico City, Dalian, Cheng – Du and St. Petersburg.
