CANNES & PARIS, May 16, 2010 / FW/ — On the 5th day of the 63rd Cannes Film Festival, the red carpet at the Palais des Festivals is only a part of the story when it comes to celebrity sightings. The luxury yachts and the parties make up the other parts.
Take Jennifer Lopez and hubby Marc Anthony for instance. Seen on May 13th at Cote d’Azur, La Lopez was wearing a floral silk chiffon kaftan, black pants, gold necklace, sunglasses, and jeweled sandals from Roberto Cavalli’s Spring/Summer 2010 Collection for a quiet moment with her husband.
Two days later, when the entertainment power couple attended the Gucci/Vanity Fair party honoring Martin Scorsese, both went uber glam in Gucci.
Jennifer Lopez wore a Gucci one of a kind pale grey moraccain silk one shoulder cocktail dress with pleated organza and georgette ruffle detail on the shoulder and a grey satin clutch with jewel detail.
Marc Anthony wore a Gucci navy notch lapel tuxedo with black satin trim, white dress shirt, black satin tie and black lace up loafers.
They were photographed with Gucci Creative Director Frida Giannini who wore a Gucci one of kind grey georgette halter-neck cocktail dress with cutaway shoulder neckline, metal beaded embroidery and mirrored geometric stone detail at the neckline, pale grey satin box clutch and grey satin peep toe high heels with ankle strap.
At the same party, Jennifer Hudson was wearing Swarovski jewelry when she attended the Gucci/ Vanity Fair event at the Hotel Du Cap Eden Roc.
