NEW YORK, Sep 9, 2010 / FW/ — Having lost interest on Project Runway when it went on hiatus for over a year due, I was not even upset that I had to watch it on the big screens at the Lincoln Center instead of being at the Theater seeing it live.

And because I don’t even follow the show anymore, I do not even have any emotional investment on the contestant or even on what they were showing on the runway.

As a fashion critic, (NOT a JUDGE), the clothes that were sent on the runway by the contestants did not mean anything to me except that they were just except perhaps a curiosity. The collection does not belong to anything that I would review or see a trend.

Perhaps, Project Runway is still enjoying a big audience at Lifetime; maybe a lot of people are still watching it. But, for this fashionista, Project Runway lost its luster a long time ago when the mighty dollar sign became more important than the groundbreaking idea that is the Project Runway show.
