NEW YORK, Jan 13, 2011 / — It isn’t often we associate clothes, or style for that matter, with Playboy magazine. In fact, outside Hugh Hefner’s year round smoking jackets, clothes go completely against what Playboy stands for. French Playboy, however, has proved us all wrong.
Playboy’s chic European cousin, who has featured the likes of Lou Doillon, Lily Cole, Lara Stone and Aussie model Tiah Eckhardt, is flipping the switch once more by showing us all that more, in this case, is actually more.
Ksubi is known for their ability to continuously push the envelope, which they have proven once again. In French Playboy’s current ‘Black’ issue, which features models of African descent, Ksubi was the brand of choice.
Guest stylist for the shoot, Love Magazine’s Senior Fashion Editor Anders Soelvsten Thomsen, picked pieces customized specifically for the shoot, a service Ksubi now provides in their Paddington store in Sydney.
