SAN FRANCISCO, Oct 13, 2011/ FW/ — During the SFBAfn runway presentation last August 27th, Joseph Domingo showed both men and womenswear pieces, that started off with swimwear followed by daywear and finally evening wear, 56 in all.
The designer even featured his own footwear, and bags throughout the entire show that worked well with his creation. This designer is a true innovator.
Mouthwatering swimwear for both men and women in bright colors that can take you from Malibu, South Beach and finally Sao Paolo paraded one right after the other. From one piece suits that showed just enough skin with and without mini wraps to your two piece suits that screamed sexy, sexy and sexier in the same hues.
The designer made sure that his cuts will enhance a woman’s body in all the right places. Meanwhile, Domingo brought the men out in some scrumptious boy shorts, also in bold bright colors (yummy!). The men look like mouthwatering candy parading down the runway (talk about eye candy).
From the swimwear, the show gradually transitioned into daywear for both gender. And again, Joseph Domingo sandals/shoes and bags were shown by the models that came down the walk. The trip he made to his homeland certainly paid off with geo prints emphasized by neon piping shown in mini dresses, pencil cut pants and shorts not to mention the shoes and bags.
And then the evening wear came last as expected. But as Domingo’s previous shows that I’ve seen in seasons past, he did not disappoint this writer nor his audience, for he came out with pieces that every woman would love to own and wear.
From his chic cocktail dresses to floor lengths that flowed ever so effortlessly, in luxe fabrics and rich colors, not to forget the mens suiting featured by this designer showing that he is THE Joseph Domingo, who can dress both men and women without hesitation.
The end result, the designer brought the house down as the full capacity crowd gave the show a standing ovation and a round of applause until well after the last model which Joseph Domingo walked away with was well out of everyone’s sight. Bravo for a great show and a great collection and I’m sure that all present during the show myself included, cannot wait to his next creation.
