NEW YORK, Dec 20, 2011/ FW/ — Just in time for the prime ski season, haute hoodie, the new fashion label from Haute Hippie will have its 500-square feet corner at The Little Nell Hotel in Aspen via Colorado-based luxury outfitter, Gorsuch.
Opening December 22nd, Gorsuch will create an haute hoodie shopping experience featuring cozy and casual clothing with a relaxed yet elegant aesthetic, which by the way is a perfect fit for the Aspen way of life.
Echoing that sentiment, Gorsuch and haute hoodie’s collaboration is a match made in heaven. The two labels are a natural fit, bringing together two like-minded brands, both born out of a desire for luxurious quality with casual weekend style; inspired by travel, authenticity and eclecticism.
Comfort is key – haute hoodie is all about knits and providing the perfect essentials for layering. The collection features everything from t-shirts, tanks and henleys, to leather trimmed leggings, knit & fur hooded ponchos, cozy fur vests, thick chunky sweaters & cardigans, plaid button down shirts, loungewear, accessories and more.
The line consists of clothes you wear when you want to be relaxed but still look cool and put together. Delving into menswear is a new foray for co-creative director Trish Wescoat Pound, inspired by her wish to make clothes for her fiancé and business partner, Jesse Cole. Through their “Sunday kind of love” and relaxed weekend lifestyle, an authentic collaboration was created: haute hoodie.
