NEW YORK, February 17th 2012, Farah Angsana Fall 2012 Runway Show

Farah Angsana Fall 2012 Ready-to-Wear

Over the top elegance is Farah Angsana. Made for the market of socialite society, her stunning collection is a fashionistas’ dream. The first number is a jewel encrusted strapless gown with a gazar cut-away skirt mimicking the folds of a blossoming rose, and will surely be a head-turner in any room. For a more subtle look Farah presents satin ankle length pants with a white and silver embroidered three-quarter length top. Hints of peplum waists, low-cut tops, emphasized shoulders, along with sheer cutouts along the waist were only part of the attention-grabbing collection. Bejeweled cocktail dresses and gowns provide more than enough charisma to charm any upper east sider. Silver metallic fabric, pops of orange, red, sparkly shoulders, and floral flowing gowns evoked a few “ohhs” and “ahhs” from the sartorial savvy audience. A strapless cocktail dress with rosette embellishment on the skirt is sure to be seen at an upscale fete come fall. A crowd favorite is a metallic purple dress with the mullet hemline, but with a twist as the longer back conjured a super-hero cape effect, flowing graciously behind as the model glided down the runway.
