NEW YORK, Nov 14, 2012/— Award winning singer, songwriter, and actress Keri Hilson is now part of the Wilhelmina Models stable. The statuesque star signed with the prominent model and celebrity agency, her representatives announced yesterday.
As per announcement, the Wilhelmina team will explore and develop fashion and beauty endorsement, editorial and licensing opportunities for the 5’9” chart-topping beauty, who is currently recording her third studio album.
Keri Hilson blasted onto the music scene with the global #1 hit “The Way I Are,” and has since established herself as not only a mainstay, GRAMMY nominated recording artist and songwriter, but an icon for female empowerment as well.
In addition to being named the face of Avon’s Imari fragrance in 2011, Keri’s most recent offering, the critically acclaimed “No Boys Allowed” was a deeply personal album designed to empower women. The album spawned the platinum single Pretty Girl Rock, which enjoyed 14 weeks at number one following its release.
Hilson is also dedicated to charity work, including most recently serving as ambassador to the MTV Staying Alive foundation to raise awareness of HIV and AIDs and Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move! Campaign to combat childhood obesity.
