NEW YORK, Nov 3, 2013/ — Hello French Quarter! New Orleans fashion scene will never be the same! Trendy retailer H&M just announced that they will now open their first location in the state of Louisiana on November 16th at noon.
The flagship store, located in the heart of New Orleans’ French Quarter at the corner of Decatur and St. Louis, will feature 32,000 square feet of fashion!
The New Orleans store will feature one of the first H&M Home in-store departments in the country. The Home collection first launched online in the summer in conjunction with the Swedish retailer’s US e-commerce site.
In addition, the store will contain fashion for ladies, men, young ladies and young men, with separate “store within store” sections for accessories, lingerie, and sports apparel, and its plus-size line H&M+.
This location will also carry the Swedish retailer’s fantastic children’s collection, which will feature quality clothing for kids of all ages, from newborn to fourteen years.
To celebrate the new location H&M will host an exclusive masquerade VIP event the evening before the store opens on November 15th. Invited guests will be the first to preview and shop the store, party under the stars in a custom garden and enjoy a special performance by The Dolls and The Pinettes Brass Band. On opening day, November 16th, H&M will offer the first 500 shoppers in line an H&M t-shirt and an Access to Fashion Pass valued from $10 to $500, in addition to other fantastic opening offers for the whole family!
