PARIS, Jan 28, 2014/ — With two annual prizes, the ANDAM Fashion Award Prize (250 000 euros) and the First Collections Prize (75 000 euros), ANDAM represents a driving force in the cultivation of fashion design in France, throughout Europe, and even beyond.
ANDAM (National Association for the Development of the Fashion Arts) is committed to the development of strategic, interdisciplinary action to promote both young design and the city of Paris as a world fashion capital.
In pursuit of these aims, ANDAM unites and coordinates the major players of the fashion industry, both institutional and individual.
Thanks to the prescience of certain formative choices and the clarity and expertise of vision that have followed, ANDAM this year celebrates not only its 25th anniversary, but an indisputable influence as a principal agent of the French fashion and luxury economy.
This year, the CEO of Kering Group, François-Henri Pinault succeeds Renzo Rosso, president of OTB Group, as the mentor of the ANDAM Fashion Award.
Over two years, the fellowship winner receives privileged mentorship, both creatively and strategically, encompassing all elements, from financial, legal, marketing and communication to the production details of his/her business, such that the development of their own label and the establishment of an international reputation may proceed as rapidly as possible.
