A close-up of her famous face: one eye, nose, lips, dark brown hair and a golden complexion. With this photo posted on Instagram, Marc Jacobs reveals that Kim Kardashian is the star of the FW23 campaign. The KUWTK star joins a long list of celebrities who have lent their faces to the brand – from Victoria Beckham peeking out of a giant shopping bag in 2008 to Kate Moss with pink hair in 2022, from Winona Ryder and Cher in 2015 to Jessica Stam and Paris Hilton in 2023 for the relaunch of the Stam bag. But this time there have been comments from those who appreciate the choice and those who say they are tired of seeing the SKIMS founder everywhere.

In the images, shot by Tyrone Lebon and styled by Alastair McKimm, Kim poses in an inflatable set built by creative studio Playlab in Los Angeles, wearing a selection of pieces from Marc Jacobs’ FW23 collection, including a black polka-dotted coat and skirt, black leather gloves, a black corset, pencil skirt and black and white polka-dot accessories, as well as the famous white Kiki boots. Throughout the ad campaign, Kim complements her looks with the brand’s The Tote bag, but also introduces new styles The Sack Bag and The Curve Bag, which will soon be available in Marc Jacobs stores and e-commerce.
