PARIS, Oct 1, 2008 / FW/ — The new Spring-Summer 2009 collection continues with the theme of the two previous ones: research and development into masculine tailoring as the inspiration for new feminine items.

The collection, teaming traditional lines with a modern twist, takes its inspiration from David Hamilton’s book of photography “The Age of Innocence”.

It exudes sensuality and innocence. It is a confident collection with impeccable designs using fresh, high-quality fabrics switching between silk and cotton with hand-finished embellishments.

It comprises of shirts combined with transparencies, masculine tailored pants and shorts with high waistlines, high-waisted mini-skirts and a variety of dresses in knitted fabrics, silk and cotton. To finish off there is a selection of classic garments given a modern makeover such as jackets and waistcoats.

Blacks, anthracites and khakis make up the colour scheme for most of the range except\ for the shirts that have a brighter and broader palette ranging from white to petrol blue through a very acid yellow.

Gori de Palma began his training in fashion in 2000 at the Instituto Catalán de la Moda where he qualified in Fashion Design and Pattern Designing in 2003. He completed his training with courses on fabrics and fabric printing, modeling and fashion design. In 2004 he created the Gori de Palma fashion label under which he has designed seven collections which have been presented at the Pasarela Gaudí and South 36 shows.

In addition to designing his own collections he has also collaborated on the design and production of other labels such as Swarovski, General Óptica, Friter, On, New York Dogs, Vans, Shoko, Pacha and Art Shoes.

In 2005 he was in charge of opening the fashion consultancy “Sinuñasestilistas” through which he has been involved in video-clips for Andrés Calamaro, Sidonie, Pastora, Sergio Rivero, El guisante mágico, and also in ads for Volkswagen Polo, American Cars, Opel Corsa, Nutella and OCB, amongst others.
