MILAN, Nov 13, 2008 / FW/ — Marking a milestone for his eponymous label, Gaetano Navarra unveiled yesterday his first ever Women’s pre-collection. Fall 2009 sees the arrival of the newest and significant outlet of the Italian designer’s unmistakable style.
Expected to be available in stores as early as May 2009, the Gaetano Navarra pre-collection is response to a specific need in the market that was created due to the label’s immense popularity.
A further testimony to the appeal of the label is represented by the exclusive presence of the current selections of both men’s and women’s Gaetano Navarra collections at the very chic Daad Dantone shops in Corso Matteotti 20 and Via Santo Spirito 24/a in Milan.
Proposing 70 looks, Gaetano Navarra’s Women’s pre-collection for Fall 2009 is absolutely consistent in terms of mood and style of the Fall 2009 / Winter 2010 main collection that will be presented on the catwalk during Milan Fashion Week (Milano Moda Donna) slated on February 2009.
The launch of the Gaetano Navarra pre-collection is one of the first important sign of the growing dynamism of the Bolognese label. The company was recently re-structured with the entry of the Chinese businessman Billy Ngok, majority shareholder – alongside the minority shareholder manager Fabio Longo – of Pianeta Terra, the specifically-created company controlling 50% of Studio 3, the finance company that owns the label; the remaining 50% of shares belongs to Marcello Casazza, partner of Gaetano Navarra.
