MILAN, Jan 22, 2009 / FW/ — While everyone was going black and white, Alessandro Dell’Acqua played the contrarian by sending sand and different washes of beige (gasp!) on the runway, and thus making a colorful statement for Fall 2009.
A continuation of his Spring 2009 collection (now in stores), Dell’Acqua’s neutral dressing does not mean safe. The blousons with front zippers and oversized collars worn on top of over long shirts make a very fashion forward statement.
Alessandro Dell’Acqua also offers some timeless, functional and sturdy pieces that can last several seasons even years in the wardrobe.
