MADRID, Mar 29, 2009 / FW/ — On his press notes for his Fall 2009 collection, Antonio Miro wrote:
I needed to return to wool as a material, that which is used in classical English textiles. It is top-quality pure wool without acrylic or nylon mixtures, with warmth and an excellent feel.
This fabric is linked to traditional values; I have used it in a different way, giving it a more ground-breaking touch. I have found this point of renewal and rupture through Robin Hood. This rebellious character came to my mind and seemed ideal for the social moment that we are living in.
It is a collection which is above all urban and my Robin Hood is a man of the 21st century, a transgressor who moves between modernity and tradition”.
