But it did not faze Donatella Versace who kept the maison’s DNA and sent out a very feminine and glam collection that is just perfect.
Perfect is the keyword here – the models with the long hair sleeked back, the skin flawless and the eyes smoky. But, femme fatale she is not; nor is she the girl next door. In fact, the Versace woman defies the ‘cliché’ categories. She is herself, she is unique, she is who she wants to be.
And thus, Donatella draped her in sartorial silk jersey and silk chiffon, proposed in the bright shades of fall. Tiny waist on form fitting trousers that is not too tight, nor too loose and just perfect in its fit.
Day dresses have hemlines that reach just above the knee, the waist is once again tiny that is sometimes emphasized by a fabric belt made from the same material as the dress.Eveningwear is red carpet worthy gowns that shows a lot of legs with its high slits.
