DALLAS, Apr 16, 2009 / FW/ — Three-time major golf champion and ranked in the top-five worldwide, Padraig Harrington has been named Citizen Watch’s Brand Ambassador for its Eco-Drive The Signature Collection.
The watch, which was introduced by Citizen Eco-Drive at BaselWorld 2009 in Switzerland last month, is set for a Fall 2009 retail debut. Padraig Harrington as Brand Ambassador will appear in the Citizen Eco-Drive Unstoppable print media campaign throughout the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom in daily newspapers, as well as monthly fashion and lifestyle magazines.
Available in two styles, one for men and one for women, Harrington will represent the Men’s Collection. The new men’s movements include the Signature Grand Complication with minute repeater, chronograph and perpetual calendar; and the Signature Flyback Chronograph with dual time zones.
Distinctive features throughout the collection include sapphire glass with dual anti-reflective coating for optimum clarity, hidden deployment clasps on bracelet styles, and crocodile straps.
The Signature Collection ladies’ timepieces will be represented by current Citizen Eco-Drive Unstoppable Brand Ambassador Paula Creamer, the top American golfer on the LPGA Tour.
Citizen Eco-Drive’s international Unstoppable media campaign features an impressive roster of talented athletes including New York Giants’ Super Bowl XLII MVP quarterback Eli Manning and 2009 Daytona 500 champion race car driver Matt Kenseth.
