Calvin Klein Menswear Spring 2010MILAN, Jun 22, 2009 / FW/ — Fresh from winning the 2009 CFDA Menswear Designer of the Year, Italo Zucchelli unveiled a modernistic Spring 2010 menswear collection for Calvin Klein.

Known for his penchant for techno fabrics (remember the season when he sent out mood clothing, i.e. clothes that changes color based on your body temperature). This time around it is the ladies who will feel the heat as they see men parading around clad in transparent fabric.

And no, it’s not the male equivalent of lingerie. It’s actually a raincoat, perhaps even a trench. Lightweight yet functional, it’s the perfect spring and summer outerwear for men on the go.

Form fitting biker pants and mesh tees – they would have fitted right in with this summer’s blockbuster movie, Star Trek XI, J.J. Abrams reboot of the popular franchise.

And, if I may make a bold prediction, this collection will be next summer’s blockbuster for menswear.
