Wooyoungmi Menswear Spring 2010PARIS, Jun 28, 2009 / FW/ — Entitled ‘The Painter’, Wooyoungmi’s Spring / Summer 2010 collection captured the essence of the working artist, putting elements of his get-up in the modern man’s wardrobe.

Like Doisneau’s Portraits D’Artistes which presents page after page of the ‘The Painter,’ wherein his very presence inspires art, Wooyoungmi proposed the ‘working man’ wherein his presence is enough to catch everyone’s attendion.

A sleeve pushed up without thought, pockets offering easy access to a brush, shirt smudged with color over color, trousers worn-out, revealing the knee – this is ‘The Painter’ and Wooyoungmi gent for Spring 2010.

Proposed in cotton, linen, viscose, jersey, wool and leather, the collection is seen in pale pink, nude, peach, multiple shades of blue and different washes of gray.

Must have accessories – Cork visor hats, Hand-carved wooden sunglasses, over-sized roll-up leather bags.
