Eryn Brinie Launches the Art of Style InitiativeNEW YORK, Oct 10, 2009 / FW/ — To support emerging and established designers, global lifestyle brand eryn brinié launched its ART of STYLE program, wherein the brand will align with and support artists that reflect the curious and adventurous world eryn brinié inhabits.

“Art is not only at the heart of eryn brinié, but also at the core of New York City,” explains Sun Lee, PR Manager for eryn brinié. “We’re thrilled to invite artists into the eryn brinié experience, lending them support as thanks for the tremendous inspiration they provide us in developing our collections.”

In celebration of the brand’s ART OF STYLE program, eryn brinié hosted an open call on August 19-20, 2009 for creative students in New York City to submit designs for the store’s window display using t-shirts created for Fashion’s Night Out, an event created by VOGUE and the Council of Fashion Designers of America in conjunction with the City of New York and NYC & Company.

The selected design was brought to life in the flagship store’s window for the weeks leading up to and following Fashion’s Night Out on September 10, 2009.

In addition, eryn brinié welcomed recording artist Kate Earl for an intimate performance during Fashion’s Night Out, an evening set to excite and invigorate shoppers worldwide.

eryn brinié aligned with Kate Earl as its inaugural artist, a singer-songwriter who represents the artistic, expressive young women to whom the brand speaks—those with a creative, inquisitive spirit and nonconformist attitude.

October 15th will mark the third artist collaboration for Fall 2009, as photographer Robert Whitman kicks off his limited engagement exhibit at the downtown boutique with a soiree for eryn brinié customers and tastemakers to toast his works.

Following this first exhibition, the brand will continue to invite both established and emerging artists to display and sell their work in-store, emphasizing the brand’s dedication to accessible art and fashion.

Further, December 17th, recording artist Erin McCarley will play an intimate set in-store, as the brand hosts a holiday party for its customers and local Erin fans.
