NEW YORK & RIO DE JANIERO, Oct 26, 2009 / FW/ — The pairing of pairings, Marc Jacobs and Grace Jones titillated the audience at Oi Fashion Rocks.
Presented first time in Brazil, Oi Fashion Rocks assembled an impressive roster of international and Brazilian designers and performers, for a star-studded evening of performances to honor the extraordinary relationship between fashion and music. And Marc Jacobs and Grace Jones did just that.
While Grace Jones performed, Marc Jacobs showed his Fall 2009 collection on stage.
The evening was hosted by Fernanda Lima and the pairings of fashion brands and musical acts included Mariah Carey and Calvin Klein Collection; Grace Jones and Marc Jacobs; P. Diddy and Versace; Ciara and Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci; Estelle and Lenny; Stop Play Moon and Alexandre Herchcovitch; Wanessa with JaRule and André Lima; and Daniela Mercury and Lino Vilaventura.
