MILAN & ISTANBUL, Oct 27, 2009 / FW/ — Last Friday, Oct 23rd, Roberto Cavalli attended the first Annual Fashionable Istanbul as guest of honor and showed a unique collection of pieces from the Fall/Winter 2009 collection and a selection of signature archival gowns from the Florentine House.
Held at the striking Dolmabahce Palace, the show was attended by Istanbul’s social register and Turkey’s dignitaries, who were also present at the invitation-only dinner party honoring the Roberto Cavalli and his wife Eva, following the show at the exclusive Reina Clubcon.
Hosted by top model Bar Rafaeli, Fashionable Istanbul opened with a gala in honor of Roberto Cavalli.
Jessica Stam, Lily Donaldson and Afef Jnifen were among the catwalkers on the show.
