PARIS, Oct 1, 2009 / FW/ — A meeting place of the designers, international buyers and journalists, Tranoi is happening in three locations – Palais Brongniart, the Carrousel du Louvre and the Hotel Dassault, offering an avant-garde selection, a vision and a personal style focused on fashion.
For Spring 2010, following the impulse of the previous collaborations with Dries Van Noten, Martin Margiela, Manish Arora, Rick Owens, Walter Van Beirendonck, Tranoi pursues its selective and visionary approach by welcoming this season the Japanese bran Q Pot as honorary guest.
Q Pot was launched in 2003 by Tadaaki Wakamatsu and takes hold of the Palais Brongniart to cover the columns with its exclusive prints. The success of this Japanese brand of fancy jewelry has spread far and wide beyond the frontiers of the country of the rising sun with its creamy macaroon brooches, its strawberry milk necklaces, and its round milk biscuit earrings.
Then at the Palais de la Bourse, ten Scandinavian designers are being honored at what would be the Scandinavian Showroom.
A showroom and a lounge space are dedicated to them. An exhibition of photographs by Martin Valin, an internationally renowned Scandinavian photographer with a series published in Tranoi Mag SS10 will be held in the lounge.
