NEW YORK, Nov 5, 2009 / FW/ — Twin sisters Ayca & Zeynep Sadikoglu, founders of OYE (Open Your Eyes) debuted their Spring /Summer 2010 Swimwear Collection yesterday in a very intimate presentation to press and buyers.
This 4th season was inspired by artist Mark Leckey, winner of the Turner Prize Exhibition at the Tate Britain – and the cult classic movie, Blade Runner – futurism and stunningly complex silhouettes.
Each swimsuit embodying the exceptional detail and design such as sexy skin-tight tubes and provocative cut-out monokinis, rock edgy embellishments including mesh and leather trim, whimsical crystal starfish, mystical evil eyes, and words such as “Bride”, bedazzle classic triangle bikinis, while beautiful ruching and glamorous gold chains adorn chic maillots and one-shoulder bandeaus.
New this season, and also a new venture for the twin sisters are matching earrings and flip flops, i.e. the earrings and the flip flops match the swimsuit.
The flip flops is a natural path to take, while branching to costume jewelry, though not far fetch is an unusual choice for swimwear designers.
The Turkish based talented young designers create their beachwear for women who exude confident, style, and a sense of individuality.
OYE’s Spring/Summer 2010 Swimwear Collection will be available January 2010 at select boutiques across the United States, on line and worldwide.
