NEW YORK, Dec 7, 2009 / FW/ — Hello Seoul! Calvin Klein Collection will present its Spring 2010 men’s and women’s lines via unique installations in a large-scale, invitation-only event which will be held on Thursday, Dec 10, 2009 at the Kring Creative Culture Center in Seoul, Korea.

With both of the brands’ Creative Directors, Francisco Costa and Italo Zucchelli, as well as Tom Murry, the President & CEO of Calvin Klein, Inc., and several other key executives of the company attending, the women’s collection will be showcased in a new work by Korean-American Artist Jean Shin while the men’s collection will be featured in a curated presentation by Neville Wakefield.

Known for her monumental installation that transform castoff materials sourced from local communities into elegant expressions of identity, Jean Shin was approached by Calvin Klein, Inc. to conceive and execute a special installation with the Calvin Klein Collection Spring 2010 as the focal point.

After spending time with Mr. Costa, watching him work and listening to him discuss his inspiration for the season and his process, Ms. Shin was able to view his collection from a unique perspective and that became the focus and direction of her one of a kind work, which will be unveiled that evening.
