llbean_logoNEW YORK, Jan 12, 2010 / FW/ — At the National Retail Federation’s 99th Annual Convention and EXPO being held in New York, the top 10 retailers who excel in customer service were announced with L.L. Bean occupying the top spot three years running.

Honored at the Annual Retail Industry Luncheon are the top 10 winners: (#1) L.L. Bean, (#2) Overstock.com, (#3) Zappos.com, (#4) Amazon.com, (#5) QVC, (#6) Coldwater Creek, (#7) HSN, (#8) Lands’ End, (#9) JCPenney and tied for #10 are Kohl’s and Nordstrom.

The top ten winners were selected by shoppers in the annual NRF Foundation/American Express Customers’ Choice survey conducted by BIGresearch.

“With competition as its peak in 2009, retailers this past year made sure to focus on excellent customer service all year long,” said NRF Foundation Vice President Kathy Mance. “Any company who secured a spot on the list this year should congratulate themselves and their employees for a job well done.”
