LOS ANGELES, Jan 24, 2010 / FW/ — Our fascination for red carpet dressing continues at the Screen Actors Guild Awards night.

Held last night at the Shrine Exposition Center in Los Angeles, California, the glitterati came out to honor their own. And they all dressed up for it.

Beginning with Best Actress winner Sandra Bullock, the star of The Blind Side just looked stunning in her midnight blue Alexander McQueen gown.

Blue seems to the choice for Best Actress winners for the evening; Drew Barrymore who won Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Movie or Miniseries in Grey Gardens also choose blue, a tiered navy Monique Lhuillier gown.

Julianna Margulies, winner for best actress in a television drama (for The Good Wife) opted for a midnight blue velvet Narciso Rodriguez gown.

The ladies of Nine would not be outdone though. Kate Hudson was white hot with her white jersey long sleeve open back evening dress with crystal embellishments from the Emilio Pucci SS 2010 runway collection.

Hudson’s co-stars: Penelope Cruz walked like a dream in the black L’Wren Scott sheath; Nicole Kidman was wardrobed by Oscar De La Renta while French actress Marion Cotillard wore a short white Elie Saab Haute Couture dress.

Christina Applegate and Felicity Huffman chose Roberto Cavalli.

The star of the now defunct ‘Samantha Who?”, Christina Applegate who was nominated as Best Actress for a Comedy Role wore a custom v-neck sky blue silk chiffon Roberto Cavalli gown with Swarovski crystal and beaded detail.

Felicity Huffman arrived in a Roberto Cavalli black halter gown with eyelet cutout detail from the Spring Summer 2010 collection.

Nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her role in “Up in the Air,” Anna Kendrick emphasized her pale skin with the regal purple silk chiffon bustier Alberta Ferretti gown.

Jane Krakowski also went to Alberta Ferretti for her wardrobe for the evening, donning a platinum silk satin one-shoulder Alberta Ferretti gown.

Lea Michelle chose a plunging, emerald green Malandrino gown and loose waves.

Best Actress nominee (for an Education) Carey Mulligan just looked perfectly beautiful in her jewel-detailed, scarlet Lanvin gown and Fred Leighton diamonds.
