denis_gagnonF1007MONTREAL, Mar 5, 2010 / FW/ — In what is arguably the best show of the season, Denis Gagnon closed Montreal Fashion Week with a collection that was themed around the zipper. And just to make things more interesting, Gagnon also added fringe to the mix, thus balancing the zipper’s hard metal with softness.

Timeless silhouettes that can will fit during the 1920s timeframe but will still be in vogue when 2020 rolls around.

A very tight collection that revolved around three colors – black, copper and gold, Denis Gagnon proposed mainly evening ensembles beginning with the opening exit of cigarette pants made of crochet and fringe paired with a snug fitting jacket adorned with zippers.

Still in cult territory that can easily go mainstream, Denis Gagnon has the makings of an international level talent that can go global the moment he finds the perfect business partner.
