PARIS, March 5, 2010/ FW/ — 8 knot knit, curve, planet, Milky Way, twist, pocket universe, doughnut, tubes, and Orion dust; for his Fall 2010 fantasy theme, Dai Fujiwara took the “sci” in sci-fi, his inspiration being Professor William Thurstons’ “8 Geometry Link Models as Metaphor of the universe”.

An ultra modern collection that featured multi-colored looped scarves paired with splattered painted leggings gave way to a strong street art vibe; urban clothing for the big city tagger.

The House of Issey Miyake is well-known for its cutting edge research in advancing textiles. This recent collection upheld that reputation.
