Nickelodeon’s 23rd Annual Kids’ Choice Awards Get Serious with Winners

LOS ANGELES, Mar 29, 2010 / FW/ — With over 91 million votes cast, the 23rd Annual Kids’ Choice Awards is serious business as kids and tweens make their voices heard.

And the awards ceremony is serious business also. Held at the UCLA’s Pauley Pavilion in Los Angeles on Saturday, March 27th, it was aired live, emerging emerged as one of the biggest events in Hollywood, boasting a massive popular vote and sweeping audience participation.

It’s the only award show that gives kids the power to vote for their favorites in movies, television, music, sports and much more – and honors their opinions with a live show filled with the stars they love.

With performances by Rihanna and Justin Bieber and A-list presenters that include Tina Fey, Steve Carell, Chris Rock, Jackie Chan, Robert Downey Jr., Jonah Hill, Katy Perry, Victoria Justice, David Spade, Lea Michele, Dev Patel, Miranda Cosgrove, Shaun White, Big Time Rush, Keke Palmer, Fred Figglehorn, Apolo Anton Ohno and John Cena, the event cannot be called pint-sized.
