DALLAS, May 11, 2010 / FW/ — I missed Monday, but I hope that the Prince of Persia: Sands of Time premiere in London last Sunday, made up for it.
Speaking of Prince of Persia, Jake Gyllenhaal, who plays the title role, was seen out and about in London before the premiere wearing a dark blue suede motorcycle jacket from BRIONI’s Spring 2010 collection.
Now, Brioni is actually well known for its suits; I wonder if Jake Gyllenhaal wore Brioni during the premiere at Vue Westfield. No one had told me yet, but I’ll tell you as soon as I find out.
Back in the U.S., Italian fashion houses is also dressing up our stars and heiresses. At the Operation Smile Gala on May 6th in New York, Lydia Hearst wore a Roberto Cavalli custom strapless dress in blush silk tulle with beaded detail around waist.
In Los Angeles, on Thursday, May 6th, at the launch of the book “Classy” by Derek Blasberg, Kate Bosworth, Nicole Richie and Devon Aoki all wore Missoni for the event, which was perfect because the book launch was held at the Missoni Boutique in Beverly Hills.
Did I mention Kate Bosworth? Earlier during the week, Kate was seen in New York wearing a Céline Natural Calfskin Sandals from the Spring 2010 collection. Ms. Bosworth has become a true fashion darling.
And finally, last Sunday, May 9th, Jessica Alba was seen wearing Genetic Denim Dakota shorts in Overcast when she was out in Beverly Hills.
