NEW YORK, May 8, 2010 / FW/ —For the fifth celebrity video installment of its exclusive online social community, “Closet Confessions,” by Bluefly, hotel heiress-turned-designer Nicky Hilton gives viewers a tour of her endless shelves of peep-toed Louboutins and many monogrammed handbags.
Adding to an already impressive roster of Closet Confessions including fashion designer Christian Siriano, Downtown DJ Harley Viera-Newton, PR Maven Kelly Cutrone and her adorable daughter Ava, Nicky brings her unique Jackie O meets Bohemian style to the screen.
From her Christian Dior Mary Janes and Brian Atwood crystal encrusted heels to her Alexander Wang Zipper Sunglasses and Vintage Pucci dresses, Nicky Hilton teases that everything should be done in moderation, “except buying shoes, handbags, jewelry….and sunglasses.”
During the shoot of her “Confession” directed by award-winning MTV alum Lena Beug and produced by Moxie Pictures, Hilton tweeted about the program to her 150,000 followers, sharing a TwitPic of her massive shoe collection as an advance peek. “When it comes to my closet I’m a collector,“ Nicky explains, “so it’s fun to share my obscure finds and obsessions.”
Since its launch on April 7th, 2010, Bluefly’s Closet Confessions has harnessed the crossover power of fashion entertainment and social media with over half a million unique visitors in its first month.
