MILAN, May 20, 2010 / — Kartell’s famed Mademoiselle chair was re-imagined by Moschino to become “The Bow” and “Wallpaper”, the chairs being part of the room décor in Maison Moschino, the new hotel that the Italian fashion house launched last February 2010.
Today, Kartell’s most fashionable armchair steps forward today with three brand new versions by Moschino:
- “Sketches” is the Mademoiselle with a patchwork of original illustrations by Franco Moschino
- “Daisies” is the Mademoiselle with white a carpet of cheery daisies on black background that decorate the seat up to the back
- “Hearts” is the Mademoiselle with the Moschino iconic black & white hearts
The Mademoiselle Moschino “Hearts”, “Sketches” and “Daisies” chairs will be available at Kartell flagship stores worldwide starting from Summer 2010.
After the one-of-a-kind samples created by Moschino in 2007 on the occasion of the “Mademoiselle à la mode” special project, the fantasies of the Milanese fashion house will be available for fans of the two brands, which share values such as irony, lightness and fantasy always combined with the undisputed “Made in Italy” quality.
Designed by Philippe Starck in 2004, Mademoiselle armchair is comfortable and cozy, chic but casual, and it is available with a transparent or shiny black frame.
