MONTREAL, Oct 1, 2010 / FW/ — Snug-fitting jackets, rolled hems and granny boots – it was a trip down memory lane with Annie 50 Spring 2011. And there was no surprise there.

Founded in Feb 2005 by Annie Chagnon and Amélie Gingras-Rioux, the label was inspired by the 1950s, hence the name Annie 50.

Bold shades of red, black and white, Annie Chagnon and Amélie Gingras-Rioux came on strong for romance as then sent figure-enhancing silhouettes adorned with tiny ruffles or embellished with ruche.

Very easy to wear, the Annie 50 Spring 2011 collection will appeal to the echo boomers and Gen Y, the two demographics which are fast becoming the marketers’ darling.
